1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Silaro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Silaro ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of the Silaro app.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the App on devices you own or control
- Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Access the fragrance database and features according to your subscription level
3. Account Registration
Account creation is optional but required for certain features:
- Cloud synchronization across devices
- AI-powered recommendations (Premium)
- Data backup and recovery
You may sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Subscription Terms
4.1 Available Plans

4.2 Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Important: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4.4 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Silaro > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Silaro > Cancel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until then.
4.5 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly.
5. Premium Features
Premium subscription includes:
- AI-powered fragrance recommendations
- Daily weather-based suggestions
- Collection analysis and insights
- Wearing advisor
- Purchase advisor
- Custom perfume creation
- Ad-free experience
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in the App, including:
- Custom perfume entries
- Wishlist names and organization
- Personal notes and preferences
By using cloud sync, you grant us a license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Use automated systems to scrape data from the App
- Redistribute or resell access to the App or its content
- Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Share your Premium subscription with others
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
- AI recommendations will match your preferences
- Fragrance information is complete or accurate
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from AI recommendations
- Third-party actions or content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Google (Authentication, Analytics, Advertising)
- Apple (Authentication, In-App Purchases)
- OpenAI (AI Recommendations)
- RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App:
- For violation of these Terms
- For fraudulent or illegal activity
- At our discretion with reasonable notice
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data stored locally remains on your device.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:
- In-app notifications
- Email notification (if registered)
- Updated "Last Updated" date
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Silaro operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between the parties
- Binding arbitration if negotiation fails
You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against us.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
